RED LIGHT SPEED CAMERA Sites

JPE was engaged by DM Roads to undertake an independent safety assessment at eight (8) speed camera locations throughout NSW. Services included reviewing individual Safety in Design (SiD) documentation for each speed camera location which included engineering risk analysis and hazard elimination in consultation with the DM Roads Design and Project Managers.

• Formal review of design plans
• Day and night-time inspection at each location
• Engagement of accredited Road Safety Auditors
• Documentation of road safety audit findings via a report in accordance with the NSW Centre for Road Safety's Guidelines for Road Safety Auditing Practices
• Eight (8) independent Road Safety Audits
• Review of individual SiD development register for each speed camera location
• Development of an independent site SiD register and baseline risk analysis based on SiD register provided with project brief
• Workshop risk analysis and hazard elimination with DM Roads Project Manager
• Submission of 8 individual SiD registers
