SYDNEY METRO WESTERN SYDNEY AIRPORT ENABLING WORKS

JPE was engaged by TfNSW for the role of Project Manager for TfNSW's Metro Enabling works. JPE was responsible for managing the development, construction, commissioning and integration of the Badgerys Creek enabling works to support the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport.

The new metro rail will become the transport spine for Greater Western Sydney, connecting communities and travellers with the new Western Sydney International (Nancy - Bird Walton) Airport and the growing region. JPE project managed two major programs of work including the Elizabeth Drive and Badgerys Creek Road roundabout and the Badgerys Creek Road and Pitt Street upgrade, which also included works within the Western Sydney Airport boundary.

JPE was responsible for leading the projects through the Strategic, Concept, Detailed Design and Delivery phases which included development through TfNSW’s gate assurance processes, guides, and practices, and leading the stakeholder engagement with key project stakeholders such as Western Sydney Airport, Airport Building Control, Sydney Metro, Council and Transport for New South Wales.
