WESTCONNEX ROAD NETWORK PERFORMANCE REVIEW PLAN

 JPE Group was engaged by TfNSW to project manage the Operational Road Network Performance Review of WestConnex Stage 3 and M4 East (Stage 1B). These plans review the traffic network before and after the motorways are opened, including 12-month post opening and 5-year post opening performance review plans. 

The performance review plans analyse how the opening of the motorways has affected travel behaviour, safety and intersection performance on surrounding roads.

A major component of this role was JPE championing the Movement and Place framework, ensuring it’s inclusion into the Road Network Review Plans. This included a review of existing TfNSW strategies and policies and determining how to best incorporate active transport opportunities.
